After losing bothJaryd尤斯塔斯andJoshua Oswaldto transfer, Miami head coach John Cooper needed to be active on the recruiting trail and transfer market to fill those scholarships. On Saturday he did just that, nabbing a commitment fromJake Wright, a transfer from The Citadel.

Wright, just a freshman, was the Bulldogs' third-leading scorer at nine points per game. The six-foot-four shooting guard shot 42 percent from beyond the three point line, good for third in the Southern Conference. He was named to the conference's all-freshman team this year.

Hopkins, Minnesota native will have to sit out this season due to NCAA rules but will have three years of eligibility remaining. With eight seniors on next year's roster, Wright should be a prime candidate for a starting spot in the 2016-2017 season.
