Happy Friday folks! We’ve made it through another week, and as of right now we are less than two weeks away from mid-week MACtion. It’s truly the best time of year.

To open up the show this week, Zach and Steve breakdown all of the action from this past weekend. Steve gave his performance of the week to the Northern Illinois run game, which produced yet another impressive performance against Bowling Green this past weekend. After Antario Brown got hurt for the Huskies, true freshman Jay Drucker entered the game and proceeded to produce 210 yards on 33 carries. It’s starting to seem like the Huskies can run the ball no matter who is in the backfield. Zach gave his performance of the week to the Western Michigan defense, who stymied the Kent State offense in a dominant 64-31 victory. The Broncos managed to hold the high powered Golden Flashes rushing attack to 124 yards on 34 carries.

另一方面,我们有说appointments of the week. This week, Steve went with Toledo, who turned in another disappointing performance in a 26-23 overtime loss to Central Michigan. The Rockets battled back from a 20-3 deficit in the third quarter but were unable to get over the hump in overtime. Zach went with Kent State, who had a chance to earn a statement victory on the road and failed miserably. The Flashes gave up over 600 yards of total offense to the Broncos and were outscored 27-6 in the third quarter alone.

To close out the show, the boys take a look at the Week 8 matchups. Miami travels to Ball State, and the Cardinals look to avenge last years loss on the back of their current three game winning streak. Kent State has a chance to bounce back against Ohio, and the Bobcats could use a win of their own after last weeks heart breaking loss to Buffalo. The boys have a slight disagreement on the Northern Illinois-Central Michigan game, with Zach thinking the wrong team is favored.

As always, thanks for stopping by this week folks. Have a great weekend, enjoy all the football, and we’ll see you back here next Friday!
