Recruiting Battle to Watch

In this week’s recruiting battle, we will take a look at a running back that has caught the eyes of multiple teams in the MAC. Branden McDonald, a 5’11, 217-lbs. back out of Archbishop Alter High School in Ohio, has a grand total of12 offers, including ones from Ball State, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami, Ohio, and Toledo. McDonald had a highly productive junior season in 2019 as he went for 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground on his way to Third Team All-Ohio honors. As you can see in his Hudl film below, McDonald is very Derrick Henry-esque: he’s a big and strong back but he also has surprising speed and agility (and has some nice hands out of the backfield too). A college strength and conditioning program could help improve his top-end speed, making him a dangerous RB at the next level.

Fire Recruiting Graphic of the Week

Western Michigan is coming in hot in this week’s Graphic of the Week. It’s very clean, and turning into a GIF of all the new additions for the Broncos must’ve taken A LOT of work but the end result is pretty stellar. As always, feel free to submit nominees for Graphic of the Week to @MAC__Crootin.
