2020 MAC Recruiting Roundup: Week of December 25

Early National Signing Day may be over, but there’s still plenty of drama left in the 2020-21 recruiting cycle with all the players that remain unsigned. Three-star DT Larry Harris has yet to sign with the Cardinals, while three-star dual-threat QB Jacory Jordan is in the same boat with Bowling Green. Three-star WR Jamari Gassett hasn’t signed with Buffalo yet, three-star DT Pius Odjugo hasn’t made a decision in regards to CMU, three-star CB TJ Spradley didn’t sign yet with Kent State, and NIU has a trio of three-stars unsigned. It is interesting to note that all the school that signed all of their commit are the ones that are fairly consistent in the MAC.

Ball State: 18 signed, 2 unsigned (Larry Harris, Karl Odrick)

Bowling Green: 22 signed, 1 unsigned (Jacory Jordan)

Central Michigan: 20 signed, 3 unsigned (Pius Odjugo, Clinton Roberson, Zaire McLaurin)

Eastern Michigan: 20 signed

Kent State: 14 signed, 1 unsigned (TJ Spradley)

Miami: 20 signed

Northern Illinois: 22 signed, 4 unsigned (Tajheem Lawson, George Gumbs, Muhammed Jammeh, Ronde Worrels)

Ohio: 14 signed

Toledo: 23 signed

Western Michigan: 19 signed

Recruiting Battle to Watch

It’s time to start transitioning to the class of 2022, and we have an Illinois RB that boast three MAC offers already. Jordan Anderson, out of Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet, Ill., comes in at 6’3” and 215 lbs. with offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, and Toledo. As you can see in his Hudl film, Anderson is the total package as a power back: he’s fast, powerful, decisive, and is patient with his blocks. To be a complete back the next level, he’ll need to add film of him in pass protection and as a pass catcher, but physically-speaking he has everything you would want in a RB.

Fire Recruiting Graphic of the Week

The MAC programs did a lot of good work as far as graphics go on ENSD, but what Miami did for its recruits is just incredible work.
